As we all know Nanomedicine is the application of nanotechnology to achieve breakthroughs in healthcare. It exploits the improved and often novel physical, chemical and biological properties of materials at the nanometer scale. It has the potential to enable early detection and prevention, and to essentially improve diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of diseases. Nanomedicine is a very special area of nanotechnology, because it is an extremely large field ranging from in vivo and in vitro diagnostics to therapy including targeted delivery and regenerative medicine; it interfaces nanomaterials (surfaces, particles, etc.) or analytical instruments with “living” human material (cells, tissue, body fluids) and it creates new tools and methods that impact significantly existing conservative practices.
The proposed NANOMEDICINE and TISSUE ENGINEERING International conference will enhance the knowledge and skills of researchers by sharing multidisciplinary knowledge and expertise between scientists from academia and industry. The Nanomedicine and Tissue Engineering Conference aims to bring together researchers and developers from around the world working in the following areas:
The conference will feature keynote addresses, a number of plenary sessions, invited talks and contributed lectures focusing on specific tenets of Nanomedicine and tissue engineering. Additionally, there will be several poster sessions, and four best poster presentations will be selected for the award. I request you to depute your students for the poster presentations or contributed talks. The conference will take place on 12-14 August 2016 held at in Kottayam, Kerala, India. The last conference organized in 2013 on this topic was a great success.
Various sessions of the conference will have brainstorming discussions. This symposium will bring together a panel of highly-accomplished experts in various aspects of Nanomedicine and Tissue Engineering. Talks will encompass basic studies through translational efforts and clinical trials and will address topics of novel issues. During the three-day conference, we will listen to recognized authorities in the field as they discuss recent advances, difficulties, and breakthroughs in the field of Nanomedicine and tissue engineering. The selection of oral and poster presentations will be made by the International Programme Committee. In view of your excellent contributions to the field of Nanomedicine and Tissue Engineering, we would like to welcome you to give an invited talk at the conference. The scientific committee of the conference is aware of your published works in this field. We would appreciate if you could e-mail us a one-page abstract of the talk (in the MS Word format) at the earliest to the conference Email: email@example.com. An appropriate title could be decided by you. The abstract in PDF or other format should not be sent.
We are glad to inform you that the editor of the Journal entitled “Applied NanoMedicine”(http://pubs.iscience.in/journal/index.php/appnanomed and Sustainable Nanotechnology (by springer) (firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org), Journal of Applied and Computational Mechanics (JACM)(http://jacm.scu.ac.ir/) and Nanoscience in Food and Agriculture(email@example.com))have kindly agreed to publish peer reviewed papers presented at the conference as special issue. We also have got acceptance from (Apple Academic Press, USA (www.AppleAcademicPress.com) to edit a book based on our conference. All the papers for the journals and for the book will be peer reviewed by international experts before publication. The proposed book and journals will be indexed by Scopus database.
During the conference there will be a brain storming discussion meeting in order to submit joint project proposals to European Union under the “HORIZON 2020” programme for funding between your country, Europe and India. We will also discuss other bilateral research progrmmes between India, Europe and rest of the world. Please note that DST of India has signed bilateral agreement with almost all the countries in the globe. These include DST-NSF, DST-DAAD, DST-DFG, DST-KBN, Indo-French (CEFIPRA), DST- Australia, etc. This conference will act as a good platform to find partners for international research collaborations.
